A 25-year-old Glastonbury man has been charged with multiple offences following an incident in Gympie on Wednesday night in which a man suffered critical stab wounds.
Police allege two men attended a Rifle Range Road property about 11:00pm where they became involved in a physical altercation with a 24-year-old man.
The resident sustained a number of stab wounds as a result of the incident.
He was transported to Gympie Hospital before being airlifted to the Sunshine Coast Hospital in a critical condition.
The Glastonbury man, who also received treatment to a non-life threatening stab wound, has been charged with two counts of armed robbery, wounding, grievous bodily harm and entering a dwelling with intent.
He was due to appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Thursday.
Investigations are continuing.
