Kingaroy Police are investigating a number of thefts which have occurred in the area over the past week.
Thieves have prised open vending machines in the public toilets in Glendon Street, Kingaroy, removing a quantity of coins.
Unknown offenders also attempted to force entry into a business on River Road by prying open a locked sliding door, but were unsuccessful.
On November 20, police received a report that a purse had been stolen from a supermarket shopping trolley while the owner wasn’t looking.
On November 23, a wallet was stolen from a man at a shop in Youngman Street, Kingaroy. The man was shopping when he was approached by another man who stole his wallet and then left the store. The offender was described as Asian in appearance.
Investigations into all four incidents are continuing.

A 55-year-old Kingaroy man has been charged with driving while disqualified after police intercepted his Toyota hatchback on the D’Aguilar Highway at Coolabunia on Friday.
He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on December 12. His vehicle was also immobilised for 90 days.

Officers from Kingaroy responded to a variety of incidents between November 19-25 within the Kingaroy Police Division.
These included traffic and property-related offences. Police also attended six calls related to domestic violence incidents, issued 49 infringement notices for life-endangering traffic offences and performed 42 roadside breath tests.
