Police are hunting the thieves who stole a Mitsubishi sedan in Moffatdale last Friday (November 16).
A Murgon police spokesman said that between 5:00pm and 5:30am, unknown offenders entered the vehicle and located the keys inside.
They then drove the car around the local area, causing extensive damage to fences and the vehicle before abandoning it.
Investigations are continuing.

On Saturday, unknown offenders entered an unsecured house in Barber Street, Cherbourg, between 3:00pm and 11:15pm.
The offenders caused damage inside the dwelling and fled the scene.
Between 1:30am and 8:45pm on the same day, unknown offenders entered a premises in Gore Street, Murgon, and broke numerous windows with a piece of timber.
They then continued on to another address in Murgon and broke glass panels in a door using rocks.
About 6:30pm, thieves broke into another premises on Gore Street. They gained entry by climbing over the fence and smashing a window before removing various confectionery items.

On Sunday about 7:30pm, an unknown person threw a rock over a fence at an address in Bond Street, Cherbourg.
The rock hit the rear windscreen of a Jeep wagon, causing it to shatter.

A 22-year-old Murgon man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on December 18.
He will be charged with unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of stolen property and trespass after personal property was stolen from an unsecured vehicle at Moffatdale about 12:30pm on Sunday.

Between November 12-19, police from the Murgon, Cherbourg and Wondai divisions responded to a range of incidents including drug, traffic and property offences.
They also attended 13 calls related to domestic violence, issued four infringement notices for life-endangering offences and performed 105 roadside breath tests.
