Nanango police are seeking the public’s help to locate a motorbike rider who failed to stop for police on Friday night.

Constable Jennie Bridge, from Nanango Police, said police were conducting patrols in Nanango when they attempted to intercept a motorcycle near the intersection of Mill Flat Road and Henry Street.

When police activated their lights and sirens, the rider immediately accelerated away at high speeds, going straight through the stop sign at the Mill Flat Road and Burnett Street intersection.

The motorbike was last seen heading east along Appin Street East, Nanango.

Police are investigating an attempted break-in at the Nanango Pie Van last Monday night. Investigations are continuing.

Two men will face Nanango Magistrates Court on December 6 to face drink-driving charges after allegedly recording high readings.

The first man, a 43-year-old from interstate, allegedly recorded 0.115 BAC; the second, a 23-year-old South Burnett man, allegedly blew 0.124 BAC.
