Drugs, traffic offences and property crime have been top of the agenda for Kingaroy Police over the past week:

- A 50-year-woman will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on November 26 charged with drug offences after police searched a Belle Street home last Monday. Police allegedly located cannabis and drug utensils.
- A 52-year-old woman will appear in the same court on same day after police searched a home in Duke Street on Saturday. They allegedly located cannabis, including 16 plants, and drug utensils.
- Also on Saturday, police searched a home in Francis Street and allegedly located cannabis and drug utensils. A 34-year-old Kingaroy woman and a 26-year-old Kingaroy man were arrested. The woman will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on December 3 charged with possessing a dangerous drug and possessing a drug utensil, while the man will appear charged with possessing a utensil.

- A 48-year-old Wattle Camp man, pulled over by police while driving at 6:25pm last Tuesday on Youngman Street, will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on December 3 after allegedly blowing 0.054 BAC.
- About half an hour later, police stopped a Holden sedan on Avoca Street. The 28-year-old male driver, from Nanango, allegedly returned a positive sample to a roadside drug test. He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on December 17.
- On Wednesday, police intercepted a 41-year-old Kingaroy woman driving a Holden sedan on the D’Aguilar Highway. A search of the vehicle allegedly located a bag containing ammunition and restricted drugs. The female driver will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on December 10 charged with disqualified driving. Her passenger, a 47-year-old Kingaroy man, will appear on the same day charged with possessing explosives and a dangerous drug. The woman’s vehicle was also immobilised for seven days.
- At 4:05pm on Wednesday, police were called to a Tuite Street address after a Ford Falcon left the road and struck a fence before driving off. Police located the vehicle and the 29-year-old male driver at a neighbouring address. The man allegedly blew 0.205 BAC when tested. He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on December 12 charged with drink driving, unlicensed driving and driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.
- A 33-year-old Deception Bay woman will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on December 3 charged with disqualified driving after police stopped a Ford stationwagon on Alford Street at 11:40am on Wednesday. Her vehicle was also immobilised for seven days.

Three men will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on December 17 to face charges of drug driving after separate incidents:
- A 25-year-old Haly Creek man was stopped by police in John Street at 3:50am on Friday.
- A 33-year-old Kingaroy man was pulled over on First Avenue at 1:30pm on Saturday.
- A 24-year-old Mt Isa man was pulled over on River Road at 4:30pm on Saturday.

- A 26-year-old Kingaroy man has been charged with theft after a set of headphones was allegedly stolen from a store in Alford Street on Thursday afternoon. Police will allege two men entered the business and while one has been talking to staff the other stole the headphones and ran from the store. The 26-year-old will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on November 26.
- On Sunday, police attended a Glendon Street business after cleaners reported an unlawful entry at the premises. It appears some time over the weekend offenders gained entry through a side window. It doesn’t appear any property has been stolen and investigations are continuing.

Kingaroy Police responded to a variety of incidents between November 5-11, included drug, traffic and property offences. Police also attended five calls related to domestic violence incidents, issued 11 infringement notices for life-endangering traffic offences and performed 240 roadside breath tests.
