Kingaroy police have been kept busy by thieves during the past week:
- An unknown offender entered a Patrick Street residence last Wednesday through an unlocked side door about 2:30am and stole a mobile phone before fleeing when disturbed by the resident. Investigations are continuing.
- Police are investigating the theft of registration plates, 701-JJA, from a Toyota sedan in Jarrah Street overnight on Friday.
- Police are investigating the overnight break-and-enter to a First Avenue residence at the weekend. The offender climbed on an Esky before removing a flyscreen from the bathroom window. No one was at home at the time and it is unknown if any property was stolen.

A 35-year-old Kingaroy man has been charged after police spoke to him in Markwell Street in regards to the theft of a bicycle from a Rosedale Street residence on September 1.
The man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on November 26 charged with stealing, possessing tainted property and receiving tainted property.

A 50-year-old Kingaroy woman will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates on November 26 charged with drink driving after police pulled over her Mitsubishi in Thorn Street at 12:35am on Sunday.
She allegedly blew 0.135 BAC.

Officers from Kingaroy responded to a variety of incidents between October 29 and November 4. These included offences against the person, traffic offences and property offences.
Police also attended six calls related to domestic violence incidents, issued 28 infringement notices for life-endangering traffic offences and performed 35 roadside breath tests.
