Thieves who broke into a Toyota Tarago parked at a Nanango address at the weekend allegedly hit paydirt, making off with $3000 worth of jewellery.

The incident occurred between October 27-28.

Police seized a sawn-off pump action shotgun during a raid on a Nanango home last Tuesday.

Kingaroy detectives, Nanango and Kingaroy police and officers from the Special Emergency Response Team attended the address to arrest a 24-year-old male wanted on outstanding warrants.

The man was remanded in custody and was due to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on Monday.

A 48-year-old South Nanango woman is due to appear in Nanango Magistrates Court on December 20.

She will face a charge of drug driving after police pulled over her Hyundai Excel hatchback on the D’Aguilar Highway, Nanango, on October 22 for a roadside drug test.

On October 22, Nanango police and Kingaroy detectives searched a Wattle Camp address for drugs.

During the search, police allegedly located cannabis and drug utensils. A 30-year-old man will appear in Nanango Magistrates Court on November 22.

On the same day, Nanango police and Kingaroy detectives also searched an address at Booie where they allegedly located cannabis and drug utensils.  

A 32-year-old man will appear in Nanango Magistrates Court on November 22.
