A 24-year-old Nanango man was due to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on Wednesday to face charges linked to three recent vehicle thefts in Kingaroy.

Police will allege the man stole vehicles on October 15, October 17 and October 21.

As well, the man will face charges of breaching bail, unlicensed possession of a firearm, possessing tainted property, possessing drugs and drug utensils, plus three counts of unlicensed driving and two counts of failing to appear.

Police are still searching for a silver-grey 2006 LandCruiser stolen from the Ironpot area on Monday.

The last confirmed sighting of the LandCruiser, registration 189-JHY, was at the Ban Ban Springs service station on Monday afternoon.

Earlier, the stolen LandCruiser was involved in a violent incident in the Burrandowan area during which another vehicle was rammed and a man threatened with a rifle.

Police have warned the public not to approach the vehicle or its occupants – a man and a woman – but to immediately report any sightings to Triple 0 (000).

A driver suffered minor injuries in a crash on the Burnett Highway near Booubyjan on Monday night.

The incident occurred about 7:00pm near Booubyjan.

The driver was transported by ambulance to Murgon Hospital in a stable condition.
