Police are hunting a stolen silver-grey 2006 Toyota LandCruiser ute involved in violent incidents in the South Burnett on Monday morning.
The last confirmed sighting was at Ban Ban Springs where it was involved in a fuel-drive off at the service station.
Registration is 189-JHY.
Police have urged residents not to approach the vehicle as the occupants – a man and woman – are armed with a rifle.
The farm ute was stolen from Rick Greenup’s property at Ironpot early on Monday morning.
Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant David Tierney, said a co-offender following the LandCruiser in a Toyota Prado – stolen earlier from Toowoomba – were then involved in a rollover on the Kingaroy-Burrandowan Road.
QAS was called to this incident at 11:16am but paramedics did not treat anyone at the scene.
Snr Sgt Tierney said the LandCruiser was involved in a second incident during which a member of the public’s 4WD was rammed, hitting a tree, and the driver threatened with a rifle.
No one was physically injured.
The LandCruiser driver, a 30-year-old man, is described as Caucasian, about 195cm tall with a solid build and brown hair.
His passenger, an 18-year-old woman, is described as Caucasian, about 160cm tall with a proportionate build and brown hair.
Extensive police patrols were launched in the Durong and Ironpot areas.
The LandCruiser was seen at 11:30am at the intersection of Freshwaters Road and Burrandowan Road.
Members of the public should immediately call Triple Zero (000) if they spot the vehicle.

It is NOT this colour, this is very misleading. It is a silver grey. It has just been spotted at Ban Ban Springs.
