Police are investigating a serious, single vehicle traffic crash which occurred near Gayndah on Saturday night.
About 1:00am, a member of the public located a vehicle in bushland off Gayndah-Mundubbera Road, about 10km west of Gayndah.
Emergency services attended the scene where they extracted the driver from the vehicle.
The female driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, aged in her 30s, was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for treatment to significant head injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
