Police are investigating the assault of a 30-year-old Kingaroy woman outside a Youngman Street hotel in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police were called to the hotel about 1:30am after an incident which occurred on the dance floor escalated.
Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant David Tierney, said the victim had earlier bumped into a second woman while dancing.
The second woman then pushed the first woman to the floor and was removed by security.
When the first woman left the premises later on, the second woman approached her and punched her three times in the face before taking off.
The offender is described a having long blonde hair, a large build and was wearing a pink Hawaiian shirt with flamingos.
Investigations are continuing.

On Wednesday, police were advised by a member of the public they had seen a drug deal taking place in King Street, Kingaroy.
Police located a 31-year-old Cherbourg man hiding behind a skip bin a short distance away.
Police will allege a search of the man located a small quantity of amphetamine which he said he had just bought with a set of bluetooth speakers.
The man was also allegedly responsible for the theft of a pair of sunglasses from a Kingaroy Street business on September 10, and a pair of earrings on September 11.
He will appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on October 15 charged with possessing a dangerous drug and drug utensils, two counts of stealing, and failing to appear.

On Sunday, police were called to a disturbance at a Kurtellen Street address in Kingaroy at 3:30am.
A 19-year-old Kingaroy woman will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on October 15 charged with assaulting a 21-year-old Kingaroy woman.
The pair had been out drinking together earlier in the evening.

A 29-year-old Kingaroy man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on October 15, charged with possessing dangerous drugs and possessing property used in a drug offence after police stopped a Holden hatchback in Daphne Street, Kingaroy on Friday.
A search of the vehicle allegedly located a small quantity of Fentanyl and cannabis as well as a drug-related item.

On Thursday afternoon, Kingaroy Police had cause to speak to a 19-year-old Kingaroy man in Doonkuna Street.
A search of the man’s backpack allegedly located a shotgun barrel and stock, and drug utensils.
He was charged with alleged unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a drug utensil.

A 22-year-old Eidsvold man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on October 22 charged with drug driving after he allegedly tested positive at a roadside drug test in Walter Road, Kingaroy, on Thursday afternoon.
A 24-year-old Nanango woman will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on November 5 charged with drug driving and drug possession after police stopped her Holden in Haly Street, Kingaroy on Sunday. Police allegedly located a small amount of amphetamines in her handbag.
Also on Sunday, police arrested and charged a 46-year-old Kingaroy man after he allegedly failed to stop for police on September 7. The man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 17 charged with failing to stop, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, driving unaccompanied on a learner’s permit, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving an uninsured vehicle. Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in solving this matter.

Kingaroy Police responded to a variety of incidents between September 10-16 within the Kingaroy Police Division, including robbery, assaults, drug offences, traffic offences and weapons offences.
Police also attended three calls related to 13 domestic violence incidents, including one where the respondent was arrested. They also issued 20 infringement notices for life-endangering traffic offences and performed 95 RBTs.
