Have you seen this vintage electric guitar? Has anyone offered to sell it to you? Have you seen it on a buy-swap-sell page?

Then Pastor Trevor Sullivan – and Nanango Police – would like to hear from you.

This is the type of guitar that was taken when thieves broke into the Nanango Christian Faith Centre, just down from the Nanango Showgrounds, recently.

The offenders caused extensive damage to gain access to the building.

The guitar is a 1970s Ibanez Custom Agent 2405 and is a genuine collector’s item.

It is in a hard case with spare strings, a brown leather strap and an electronic tuner.

Pastor Sullivan said one gold-coloured pickup had been replaced with a white one.

“I think it is engraved on the back with something like TS151155Q – not sure as it was a long time ago when we did the engraving on our stuff,” Pastor Sullivan said.

“It has been used for worship since purchased in about 1983 – dedicated to the Lord for that purpose.

“It won’t do the culprits any good.

“Just in case anybody sees or hears anything. Police are investigating.

“Any help would be appreciated.”

Anyone with information should contact Nanango Police on (07) 4171-6333 or by email, or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800-333-000.
