Kingaroy Police will be hosting a special event at the Alford Street police station next Wednesday (August 29) as part of Queensland Road Safety Week.
There’ll be free tea and coffee plus a bacon and egg muffin.
The morning will run from 7:00am to 10:00am.
The theme for this year’s Queensland Road Safety Week is “We’re Speaking Up For Road Safety”.
Police are asking residents to show their support on social media by sharing a selfie with the hashtag #SpeakUpSelfie
“Let’s stop accepting death and serious injury as just ‘part and parcel’ of using our roads,” a police spokesperson said.
“Speak up. Be heard.”
