A 56-year-old man has been charged with assaulting police after an alleged disturbance at a house on Nanango-Tarong Road.
Nanango Police were called to the address on Friday and while speaking to the man, he allegedly assaulted police.
He arrested, taken to the Kingaroy Watchhouse and charged.
He is due to appear in Nanango Magistrates Court on September 20.

The road policing unit was conducting random drug testing around Nanango last Tuesday when they intercepted a 60-year-old woman driving on Drayton Street, Nanango.
Police conducted a drug test which allegedly revealed the presence of drugs. She will appear in Nanango Magistrates Court on October 11.

About 11:40am last Wednesday, Nanango Police stopped a vehicle in Beitzel Road, South Nanango, for a licence check.
A check of the driver’s licence allegedly revealed the driver had a suspended licence.
As a result, a 46-year-old Yarraman man has been issued with a notice to appear at Nanango Magistrates Court on August 30.

At 2:40pm last Thursday, police stopped a vehicle in Brisbane Street, Nanango, for a licence check.
A 77-year-old Nanango male was issued with a traffic infringement notice for driving with an expired licence.

On Saturday, the road policing unit was conducting patrols along the Burnett Highway north of Nanango when they stopped a 51-year-old male driver and conducted a random drug test.
The man allegedly produced a positive test result.
Drugs and drug utensils were also allegedly found in his vehicle.
He is due to appear in Nanango Magistrates Court on September 20.
