Work will be starting soon on the new $3.1 million East Murgon Neighbourhood Centre (better known as Graham House).
Tenders for the demolition and removal of the old building in Taylor Street – followed by the construction of a new centre – closed on August 16.
Funding for the project was allocated in the last State Budget.
On September 3, Graham House will re-locate to Murgon Courthouse while the new Community Centre Building gets built.
