The South Burnett Community Agriculture Network will be holding its next meeting at Wooroolin’s Memorial Hall on Monday (August 27) to discuss vegetation management.
Representatives from the Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Environment will be giving a presentation on the subject at the meeting.
A workshop element will also be included, with representatives from the Department, AgForce and Council focussing on Queensland Globe Mapping and how it can assist on-farm practices.
Producers and agricultural stakeholders are welcome to ask any questions they have about vegetation management and the legal requirements agricultural producers must meet.
The purpose of the Agriculture Network is to provide a regular opportunity for producers and growers from various sectors of South Burnett agriculture to connect and share information and insights about their operations.
The South Burnett Regional Council, along with representatives from a range of organisations and agencies relevant to agriculture, also appreciate the chance to hear directly from producers and share information about their own agriculture-related activities and programs.
Everyone is welcome to attend, and the group welcomes input from other interested agriculture-related groups and organisations.
Thanks to FRRR, a complimentary light dinner will be served at 5:30pm before the meeting gets underway at 6:00pm.
