A 46-year-old Nanango man has been charged in relation to a quad bike allegedly stolen from a property on East Nanango Grindstone Road at Glan Devon on August 6.

Nanango Police say that between 1:30pm and 2:30pm on that date, unknown offenders stole a quad bike as well as a number of personal items including jewellery and perfume.

Police have since located the quad bike.

Investigations are continuing.

Nanango Police are investigating a number of thefts which have occurred in the region recently:

Between August 1 and August 6,  unknown offender/s have unlawfully entered a dwelling on Heights Road at Glan Devon and stolen a ride-on lawn mower and a chainsaw.

On August 7, a stealing offence occurred about noon at an address in Elk Street, Nanango. An unknown offender took an Apple iPhone 8.

On August 10, police received a report of a stealing offence that occurred between the July 27 and August 10 on Oliver Road in Nanango. Unknown offenders have entered a shed at the address and stolen work tools including a grinder, electric power saw, cordless drill and an electric drill as well as hand tools including screwdrivers and socket sets.

On August 11,  police received a report that between August 8 and August 11, unknown offenders  entered an address on Nanango-Tarong Road at Tarong. The offender/s have gained entry to a storage container at the address and stolen a chainsaw, pole chainsaw, a blower and a concrete saw.

On Wednesday, August 8,  a police search at an address in Grey Street, Nanango, allegedly located cannabis and drug utensils.

A 33-year-old Nanango man has been dealt with under the provisions of the Drug Misuse Act for possessing dangerous drugs and possessing drug utensils.
