There’s a big double-header of rugby league planned at Murgon on Saturday with two A Grade matches scheduled.
Cherbourg will take on Murgon in the local derby at 2:00pm, followed by Kingaroy v Wondai at 4:00pm.
After demolishing Wondai and Murgon over the past two weeks, the Nanango Stags have a bye this weekend to catch their breath.
In the U18s Toowoomba competition, the South Burnett Eagles will face the Wattles Warriors at Clifton at 3:45pm on Saturday.
The Eagles enjoyed a big win in Kingaroy last weekend, downing Pittsworth 50-12 .
The South Burnett side is currently holding down fifth spot on the ladder in the 12-team competition.
All South Burnett women’s teams – U14s, U16s and Open – competing in the Sunshine Coast competition have a bye this weekend.
One for the diaries: Next weekend (June 16), there will be two Open women’s games played at Wondai – Noosa v Kawana at 2:30pm, followed by South Burnett v Nambour at 3:45pm.

There is no junior rugby league being played in the South Burnett this weekend as the Central Region Division Junior Carnival is being held at Chinchilla.
More than 500 junior players, officials and volunteers from throughout the Central Region will be converging on the town for the third annual carnival to select players for the Central Crows teams to compete at the State Junior Championships next month.
The carnival will feature boys and girls games in U13, U14 and U16 age groups, representing four regional teams: Central Queensland Capras, South West Mustangs, Sunshine Coast Falcons and Wide Bay Bulls.
