Round 1 of the South Burnett senior rugby league competition will get underway on Saturday with a double-header to be played at Cherbourg.
Cherbourg will take on Murgon while Wondai will play Kingaroy.
Nanango has the bye.
The A Grade games will follow a Round 3 Under 18s game from the Toowoomba rugby league competition.
- 2:00pm – U18s – South Burnett Eagles v Toowoomba Valleys
- 3:30pm – A Grade – Kingaroy v Wondai
- 5:00pm – A Grade – Cherbourg v Murgon
There will be no junior rugby league played this weekend due to the school holidays.

A trial AFL match between the South Burnett Saints and Chinchilla Suns will be played at Lyle Vidler Oval in Kingaroy on Saturday at 3:00pm.
The game coincides with the 30th anniversary celebrations of the Lyle Vidler Oval Clubhouse.
A T20 cricket match will be played beforehand from 11:30am between a Kingaroy Cricket and Sports Club (KCSC) XI and a Gympie XI.
(Is this the first time that cricket and AFL have been played on the same ground on the same day?)
The LVO clubhouse was officially opened in April 1988.
Celebrations will also include a spit roast dinner $25 per adult, $15 12 yearrs and under, live entertainment by Luke Medcalf, raffles and a licensed bar.

POSTPONED: South Burnett United will be taking on the Chinchilla Bears at Tom Alford Oval from 5:00pm on Saturday in Round 5 of the Toowoomba Football League Championship soccer competition.
United are currently in equal top spot on the ladder, with three wins and a draw from four games.
Chinchilla are in fifth spot.
There will be no local South Burnett senior football games played this weekend; games will resume on April 21.
