The Kingaroy Regional Art Gallery is inviting all crafty folk in the South Burnett to become a part of the Queensland Winter Craft Festival, which will be held at the Gallery in June and July.
The festival, which is in its third year, is a celebration of all things hand made.
It will run from May 30 to July 3; and July 5 to July 31.
The theme this year is “From Tradition To Innovation In The 21st Century”.
Curator Fran van Vegchel said the gallery was seeking expressions of interest from groups as well as individuals to mount displays, hold workshops, carry out demonstrations or just have an informal stall to sell their work.
Activities will be held in the gallery and in the adjacent 1913 Chambers and Heritage Precinct.
Craft tools and materials will also be available to buy at the gallery throughout the eight weeks of activities.
Fran said the cut-off date for artisans wanting to submit items to exhibit in the gallery was March 31.
