QRRRWN president Melissa Barnett will be the special guest speaker at South Burnett Women’s International Women’s Day breakfast on March 8.
The breakfast is a major fundraiser for the group’s annual Ellen Mary Kent Hughes Memorial Scholarship.
According to South Burnett Women, a mid-life crisis prompted Melissa to throw caution to the wind and begin a new career in journalism 10 years ago.
She currently writes for a business website and runs a farm stay business, vineyard and cattle enterprise with her husband Michael.
The International Women’s Day Breakfast will be held from 6:30am at Cassis restaurant on the Booie Range.

Single tickets are $45 or $270 for a table of six.
