Greens candidate John Harbison has claimed the top spot on the ballot paper for the Electorate of Nanango at the November 25 State Election.
The draw for the ballot paper order of Nanango candidates was conducted on Tuesday afternoon by Returning Officer Graeme Gillanders at the Electoral Commission of Queensland’s temporary office in Drayton Street, Nanango.
LNP candidate and sitting Member Deb Frecklington has the second position; Pauline Hanson’s One Nation candidate Douglas Grant is in third spot; and the ALP’s Ben Rankin rounds out the ballot paper.
Nominations for candidates for the election closed at noon on Tuesday.
By this time, only the four candidates previously announced for Nanango had nominated.
Two candidates – Mr Rankin and Mr Grant – were present for the ballot draw, while Mrs Frecklington sent a representative.

Information For Voters
Applications for postal votes opened on October 29 and close on November 22.
Postal voting and Electoral Visitor voting began at 4:00pm on Tuesday. The cut-off for the return of postal ballot papers is 5:00pm on Tuesday, December 5.
Pre-poll voting in person will begin at 9:00am on Monday, November 13, and will close at 6:00pm on Friday, November 24.
