Touring Canadian vocal duo Madison Violet will be dropping into The Shed at Nanango next week to perform their special blend of folk, pop and Americana.
The duo – Brenley MacEachern and Lisa MacIsaac – have cut seven albums together since they first met in 1999 in Toronto.
Over the years, Madison Violet have acquired a Canadian Folk Music Award for Best Vocal Group Album of the Year, a Critic’s Choice award from Country Music People’s Magazine as well as a nomination at the prestigious Juno awards.
Their songs have been featured in the music magazine MOJO’s Top 10 Playlist, and have won praise on the BBC, CBC and NPR.
Their 2015 single ‘These Ships’ attracted more than one million plays on Spotify.
Madison Violet were interviewed by ABC Radio Brisbane recently about their Australian tour.
They will be at The Shed on Wednesday (October 4) from 7:00pm.
