Work to widen and repair sections of Corndale Road at Memerambi has been scheduled to begin on Monday (August 21).
A South Burnett Regional Council spokesperson said the project would include widening to a two-lane bitumen standard a section of Corndale Road from the Couchmans Road intersection for about one kilometre to the east.
Pavement rehabilitation will occur from the Klass & Towns Road intersection for about 700m to the east.
The works will include earthworks, pavement construction, bitumen sealing and line marking.
The project is expected to be completed in November.
During construction, traffic shall be controlled by traffic signals with minor delays should be anticipated.
