Three vegetation fires at Ballogie, Kingaroy and in the Bunya Mountains kept local fire crews busy on Wednesday.
The largest of the three was at Aerodrome Road in Kingaroy.
Seven vehicles attended the scene, and residents living nearby were advised to close doors and windows and keep medication close by if suffering from a respiratory condition.
Another fire, at 265 Seiler Road in Ballogie, required attention from two fire fighting units.
And a third vegetation fire at Rainforest Road in the Bunya Mountains was attended by three units.
