A Kingaroy woman aged in her early 20s was taken to hospital after her Commodore sedan ran off the road and hit a tree near the Nanango Showgrounds on Monday morning.
The woman was travelling into Nanango when the crash occurred.
Emergency services were called to incident about 5:50am.
The P-Plate driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was treated by ambulance paramedics at the scene and transported to Kingaroy Hospital with suspected abdominal and chest injuries.
Her vehicle was badly damaged and towed from the scene.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.

A man, aged in his 60s, was taken to Nanango Hospital as a precaution after two cars collided on the corner of Appin Street West and Cairns Street, Nanango, on Monday morning.
The incident occurred about 11:13am.

Gympie police are investigating a petrol drive-off committed at Widgee in the past few days.
Senior Constable Deb Wruck, from Gympie Police, warned that all petrol stations have CCTV cameras and the thief would be caught.

Cash and valuables have been stolen from a caravan in Moore Street, Goomeri.
The thieves forced their way into the van at some time between June 26 and July 2.
Items stolen included cash, three expensive watches (square face Omega with diamonds; RM Williams; silver Rolex with diamonds), an Armani bag, and a small safe.

The Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has transported a man who fell from a truck while loading cattle on Sunday afternoon.
The man, in his 60s, suffered a suspected compound fracture in his left ankle, and the helicopter was called to airlift him from Mundubbera Hospital just after 5:00pm.
The man was taken to Bundaberg Base Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
