Recently appointed South Burnett senior economic development officer Craig Tunley will be one of the guest speakers at next Monday’s Kingaroy Chamber Of Commerce and Industry meet’n’greet (June 19).
Former South Burnett Regional Council economic development manager Phil Harding will introduce Mr Tunley to the businesspeople present.
Mr Tunley was appointed by the SBRC last month.
He was a former Economic Development Senior Officer at Western Downs Regional Council from 2008 to this year, and before that served for nearly five years as Development Officer at Flinders Shire Council.
Southern Cross Austereo will be hosting the meet’n’greet at its Kingaroy studios on the corner of Alford and Glendon streets.
SCA general manager for the Toowoomba region, Zac Nanscawen, will be another guest speaker.
The radio station is part of a much larger media network across Australia which includes 84 radio stations, 32 regional TV stations and 17 DAB+ digital radio stations.
Southern Cross Austereo has donated a $1000 + GST advertising package which will be raffled at the meet’n’greet. Tickets will be $2 and the prize will be drawn on the night.
A third guest speaker will be Kingaroy Shoppingworld centre manager Karen Hugg who will update the gathering on recent comings and goings at the shopping centre.
The meet’n’greet will start at 5:15pm and the cost is $10.
