Police searched a house in Haly Street, Kingaroy, on Saturday night looking for a person wanted on an arrest warrant.

They came up empty-handed but noticed that one of the occupants in the house was using drugs.

He has been issued with a notice to appear in court.

A man wanted on an outstanding warrant was arrested by police at 5:30pm on Saturday night at a house in Belle Street, Kingaroy.

He was bailed to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court.

Police were called to a house in Daphne Street, Kingaroy, on Sunday evening after reports of a fight.

They issued a man with a notice to appear in court after they allegedly located a small amount of cannabis.

The road toll for Queensland currently stands at 204, with five deaths so far in November.

The next Police Blue Light Disco will be held in Kingaroy on Friday, November 25, and there’ll be a special visitor on the night (not Santa!)

There’ll also be a sausage sizzle in the Town Hall Forecourt.
