Murgon and district residents will be able to quiz experts from the the Bureau of Meteorology about the seasonal weather outlook at a free Community Preparedness Seminar in Murgon on Monday, November 7.
The seminar has been jointly organised by RACQ Get Ready Queensland and the South Burnett Regional Council, and it is designed to prepare the Murgon community for the upcoming storm and fire seasons.
Guests will be able to hear about the seasonal weather outlook and find out what it means for them, their community and their businesses.
They’ll also be able to ask questions of experts from the Bureau of Meteorology, and learn more about how to be better prepared.
The seminar will be held at the Murgon RSL Diggers Room at 70 Gore Street at 5:30pm.
Supper will be provided on arrival, but to help plan the catering an RSVP by email would be greatly appreciated.
