A 50-year-old motorcycle rider was taken to Kingaroy Hospital with minor injuries after an incident on the corner of Ivy and Wieden streets in Kingaroy, last Thursday.

The rider, on a Harley Davidson, swerved to avoid a large dog as he was riding to work.

A Holden Rodeo was seized by police and impounded for 90 days after police stopped the vehicle in the Shoppingworld Car Park on Friday morning.

Checks allegedly revealed the vehicle was unregistered and uninsured.

It also was allegedly bearing false plates.

A 42-year-old woman was issued with a notice to appear in court.

Police were called to a disturbance at a Kingaroy hotel after midnight on Saturday morning.

A 23-year-old man was taken into custody for allegedly re-entering a hotel after eviction.

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant Duane Frank said a fight also broke out involving a number of men.

“Investigations are continuing in respect of possible alcohol-related offences,” Snr Sgt Frank said.

A driver was issued with a ticket for failing to give way after a two-vehicle crash on the corner of Burnett and Haly streets, Kingaroy, on Sunday morning.

A 27-year-old man driving a Subaru allegedly failed to give way to a Mazda ute.

Police who stopped two men in Alford Street, Kingaroy, on Sunday night allegedly spotted one of the men drop a package on the ground.

A search allegedly located a small amount of cannabis.

A 34-year-old Kingaroy man was dealt with by drug diversion.

A search of a house in Tuite Street, Kingaroy, last Thursday allegedly located a small amount of cannabis and other items.  

A woman at the house was charged with possessing dangerous drugs and possessing drug utensils.

On Friday morning, police searched a house in Railway Terrace, Kingaroy, and allegedly located drug utensils.

A 16-year-old boy will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.

Last Wednesday, a search of a house in Lara Court, Kingaroy, allegedly located a small amount of cannabis.

A 30-year-old man has been issued with a notice to appear in court to face charges on possessing dangerous drugs and possessing drug utensils.

A 46-year-old man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on November 14 charged with producing dangerous drugs, possessing dangerous drugs and possessing drug utensils after a raid on a property on Wooden Hut Road at Inverlaw last Wednesday.

Police will allege they located 30 cannabis plants of various sizes growing in pots and a large number of seeds.

Police searching for a wanted person at a house in Railway Terrace on Wednesday, didn’t find the person but allegedly located an air rifle in a bedroom.

A 16-year-old youth has been issued with a notice to appear in Children’s Court to face a charge of unlawful possession of a weapon.
