A 49-year-old Murgon man has been charged with stealing after he allegedly filled a box trailer with roadbase piled on the side of the Bunya Highway.

The roadbase was in storage area near the Wellers Road intersection at Wooroolin.

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant Duane Frank, said it was a timely reminder to all residents that the piles of road materials or dirt beside roadways are owned, and it is an offence to take them.

The man will appear in Murgon Court on October 25.

The Queensland road toll for 2016 stands at 186, with seven deaths so far in October.

The last two fatalities were both motorcycle riders.

A 20-year-old Kingaroy woman has been issued with a notice to appear in court after she allegedly failed to attend a drug diversion appointment in Nanango.

A 33-year-old Nanango will appear in Nanango Court on November 3 to face charges of producing dangerous drugs, possessing dangerous drugs and possessing drug utensils.

Police allegedly located more than 100 immature cannabis plants growing in pots when they searched a house in McNicholl Road, Wattle Camp, last Friday.
