Firefighters were called at midday on Sunday to a large fire burning in the Coverty area.
Six crews attended the blaze, which was burning near Glencoe Road and K. Duff Road.
A QFES spokesperson said crews provided structural protection and conducted backburning to contain the fire.
The fireground was monitored overnight with crew returning to the area on Monday morning.
The fire created a large amount of smoke in the Coverty and Okeden areas.
