A 44-year-old Kingaroy man has been charged after a break-in at the Church Of Christ in Haly Street, Kingaroy.

Church officials reported the break-in on Saturday afternoon.

It appeared entry had been gained by climbing on a wheelie bin, removing a fly-screen and then a window pane.

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant Duane Frank, said loose change from a donation tin and some keys were stolen.

After a forensic investigation at the scene, Kingaroy detectives attended a residence in Belle Street and located a man.

He is due to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on October 17.

A 17-year-old man has been issued with a ticket for failing to have proper control of vehicle after a single-vehicle crash on Shellbacks Road at Booie on Sunday afternoon.

Police, fire brigade and ambulance were called to incident about 12:30pm.

The man’s Toyota sedan left the road and rolled. He was taken to Kingaroy Hospital for observation.

A P-Plate driver will face a drink-driving charge after police stopped him for a random breath test in Glendon Street, Kingaroy, on Thursday evening.

The 25-year-old Kingaroy man allegedly had a BAC of 0.056.

A 28-year-old woman wanted on an arrest warrant was located by police in Arthur Street, Kingaroy, on Friday.

The woman was wanted for failing to appear in court on September 19.

A 33-year-old Kingaroy man was handcuffed and taken into custody after an incident in Harris Road, Kingaroy, on Friday morning.

Snr Sgt Frank said police were trying to speak to the man about unlicensed driving when he allegedly became very aggressive and abusive.

The man was later charged with two counts of unlicensed driving and obstructing police.

He was bailed to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court in October.

A 35-year-old woman has been charged with drink-driving after she was stopped for a random breath test in First Avenue, Kingaroy, at 11:30pm on Friday.

The woman allegedly blew 0.094.

She will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court in October.

A man wanted by police in relation to a fuel drive-off from a service station at Miles was located in Youngman Street, Kingaroy, on Sunday morning.

The 24-year-old Northern Territory resident has been issued with a notice to appear in Chinchilla Court in October to face a charge of stealing.

Two people will face drug-related charges after police attended a residence in West Wooroolin Road on Friday morning.

An 18-year-old man will face a charge of possessing dangerous drugs (cannabis) and drug utensils; and a 28-year-old man will face a charge of possessing drug utensils.

The Queensland road toll now stands at 175, with 14 fatalities in September.

The last three deaths have all been motorcycle riders.
