Police will allege they seized these seedlings during a search of a property at Booie on Friday

A man has been charged with multiple drug offences after police searched a rural property at Booie on Friday afternoon.

Kingaroy police allegedly located a number of cannabis seedlings growing in tubs at the back of the house in Schellbacks Road as well as cannabis seeds and lighting equipment used to grow drugs.

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant Duane Frank, said there was no one at the property when the search took place, but police located the occupant of the house on Saturday.

He has been charged with producing dangerous drugs, possessing dangerous drugs, possessing drug utensils and possessing other items used in the production of dangerous drugs.

He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on October 24.
