A driver was taken to Kingaroy Hospital for assessment after his Falcon sedan struck a fallen tree on Kingaroy-Cooyar Road near Goodger about noon on Wednesday.
A QAS spokesman said the man was treated for neck pain and transported in a stable condition.
This is the second large tree to fall in the same stretch of Kingaroy-Cooyar Road – between Lankowskis and Bellbird roads – in recent months.
In June, a large eucalypt fell near Bellbird Road, striking the windscreen and roof of a 4WD dual-cab Ford ute.
The driver and passenger on that occasion were lucky to escape injury, although the vehicle was badly damaged.
Council workers removed the fallen trees on both occasions.
