Emergency personnel were called to Tarong Power Station on Friday afternoon after reports of a fire.
When fire fighters arrived at the scene about 4:00pm, they found a transformer had exploded.
No one was injured and there was no fire.

A 15-year-old boy wanted in relation to alleged fraud was arrested by police in Kingaroy last Tuesday.
Police will allege the boy used another person’s credit card to buy food and other items at various stores.
He was bailed to appear in Kingaroy Children’s Court in September.

Police were called to the carpark behind Kingaroy Town Hall at midnight on Saturday after reports of suspicious activity.
A 41-year-old Murgon man has been issued with a notice to appear in court to face a charge of wilful damage.
Police will allege he used an object to scratch two vehicles in the carpark.

A middle-aged Nanango woman was taken to hospital for observation after a minor car crash in Chester Street, Nanango, on Monday afternoon.
The vehicle hit a drain about 2:00pm and required towing.
