The Major and Minor Semi-Finals for the junior grades in the South Burnett Rugby League will be played on Saturday at Nanango, as well as the A Grade clash between South Burnett premiers Cherbourg and North Burnett premiers Mundubbera.
The big day of league action will kick off at 9:00am at Fred Kassulke Oval.
Game times:
- 9:00am – U12 Minor Semi – Central Burnett v Nanango (3rd v 4th)
- 10:00am – U12 Major Semi – Cherbourg v Kingaroy (1st v 2nd)
- 11:00am – U14 Minor Semi – Nanango v Chinchilla Green (3rd v 4th)
- Noon – U14 Major Semi – Wondai v Cherbourg (1st v 2nd)
- 1:00pm – U16 Minor Semi – Kingaroy v Nanango (3rd v 4th)
- 2:30pm – U16 Major Semi – Central Burnett v Cherbourg (1st v 2nd)
- 4:00pm – Burnett Final – Cherbourg v Mundubbera
NB. The U18s match between South Burnett Blue and Souths which had been scheduled for 5:45pm has been forfeited by Magpies.

In Toowoomba U18s matches last weekend, Burnett Blue continued its march towards the semi-finals with a 38-18 win over Wattles in Toowoomba.
Blue are in third spot on the ladder with one round of fixtures matches to go but won’t be in action this week (see above).
Burnett White put up a brave performance against competition leaders Toowoomba Valleys, scoring three tries against the highly rated side.
Final score was 70-12.
Burnett White will play the Pittsworth Danes at Pittsworth on Sunday in their last game for 2016.

The first Kingaroy girls team to make it to a grand final – the U14 Red Ants – did the region proud when they ran onto the turf at the Sunshine Coast Stadium on Sunday.
The Grand Final between Caboolture and Kingaroy was a lead-up game to an Intrust Super Cup match, and was played before a big crowd, described by organisers as “one of the biggest crowds the stadium has had for Rugby League”.
Three Sunshine Coast JRL Grand Finals were decided on Sunday:
- U14s – Caboolture defeated Kingaroy 48-12
- U16s – Kawana defeated Caboolture 30-22
- U18s – Beachmere defeated Nambour 48-36
