A busload of supporters will be heading from the South Burnett to Kawana on Sunday to support the first all-girl rugby league team from Kingaroy to make it through to a Grand Final.
The U14 Red Ants Girls team will be taking on Caboolture as a curtainraiser to the Intrust Super Cup game between the Sunshine Coast Falcons and the CQ Capras.
The team last played Caboolture on July 29 at Caboolture in a semi-final where they went down 34-16.
But last weekend, the Kingaroy girls defeated Bribie / Beachmere 40-10 in the Preliminary Final to earn their spot in the Grand Final so will be going into the big game with confidence.
In the U16s girls competition, Kingaroy finished in third spot on the ladder but were knocked out in the semi-finals by Nambour who defeated them 34-10 on July 29.

The Toowoomba U18 competition, in which the South Burnett has two teams competing, still has two more rounds of fixtures games to go before the finals series begins.
This weekend, Burnett Blue, who are currently third on the ladder, will play Wattles; while Burnett White, in ninth spot, will take on competition leaders Toowoomba Valleys.
Both games are being played at Herb Steinhardt Oval in Toowoomba on Sunday.

Mundubbera Tigers defeated the Eidsvold Eagles 40-14 at Martin Love Oval in Mundubbera on Saturday in the Central Burnett Rugby League Grand Final.
Mundubbera tries were scored by Brendon Augustine, Bert Beezley, Cody Augustine, Danyon Van Mierlo, Jackson Jones, Mitchell Thorburn and Nasinu Fiefia.
Eidsvold try scorers were: William Ofanoa, Michael Iongi and Blake Popp.
Mundubbera will now face the Cherbourg Hornets at Nanango on August 20 for the Burnett Premiership.

Kingaroy Red are currently leading the Toowoomba U16s competition, which also has two more rounds of fixtures to go.
The Red Ants will take on Dalby this weekend in Dalby.
In the local U16s, Central Burnett are on top of the ladder, followed by Kingaroy White, Cherbourg and Nanango.
Kingaroy White will play Cherbourg at T.J. O’Neill Oval in Kingaroy at 11:30am on Saturday.
