The Nanango Race Club will be holding its traditional Nanango Cup Race Meeting at the Lee Park Racecourse on Saturday, August 13. And it will be even bigger than usual.
The Nanango Cup is always one of the club’s busiest meetings of the year.
But because of a large number of acceptances, Saturday’s card will feature six races rather than the usual five.
The meeting will also offer guests an on-course TAB, live telecasts of interstate races, an undercover betting ring, barbecue and bar, as well as the Lady Luck Cocktail Bar.
The meeting’s theme is “Beautiful Black And White” and guests who dress to it can compete in the Fashions Of The Field competition for great prizes.
Buses will be leaving Kingaroy’s Glendon Street Bus Depot at 12:00 noon and the Nanango RSL at 12:30pm.
Gates will open about 10:00am with Race 1 leaving the barriers at 12:55pm.
