A 70-year-old woman who suffered severe head injuries when she was struck by a truck in Blackbutt on Tuesday morning has died in hospital.
Paramedics attended to the woman at the scene in Coulson Street, and she was then flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital by RACQ LifeFlight in a critical condition.
This incident occurred about 9:30am.
The driver of the truck, a 40-year-old man, was not physically injured.
Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit are continuing.
