The South Burnett Regional Council will be starting road works on the Kumbia-Brooklands Road next Wednesday (August 3).

The Council will be carrying out shoulder gravel resheeting on a 3.2km section between Flagstone Creek Road and Ellesmere Road.

Construction work will include earthworks, drainage improvements and gravel resheeting of the unsealed shoulders.

It is expected the work will be completed by early September.

During construction, traffic will still be able to travel along this section but there may be some minor delays.

Any local residents with concerns during the construction period should contact the onsite supervisor, or phone the Council’s Customer Service Centre on (07) 4189-9100.
