South Burnett Directions has organised another series of workshops in conjunction with TAFE South West to help improve customer service in the South Burnett.
The aim of the “South Burnett Customer and Visitor Experience Program” is to improve the attitudes of staff members, build teamwork and improve knowledge about the region.
The program has been designed to complement the South Burnett Rewards ‘shop local’ campaign which will be launched later this year.
Courses were run at Kingaroy, Nanango and Wondai earlier this year.
The latest round of courses are being held in Kingaroy, Murgon and Blackbutt:
- Kingaroy – June 21, 8:00am-4:00pm at Kingaroy TAFE campus
- Kingaroy – June 22, 8:00am-4:00pm at Kingaroy TAFE campus

- Blackbutt – (2 evening sessions) June 20 and July 5, 5:30pm-8:30pm at Bunya Nut Café
Cost to take part is $50.
This course is usually $150 per person but it is being subsidised by South Burnett Directions as part of a commitment to building business capacity and ensuring a positive experience for visitors to the region.
