A teenager is in a critical condition after falling from a horse on a private property at Upper Glastonbury, south of Widgee, on Tuesday.
The Maroochydore-based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was despatched at 12:35pm and arrived at the property shortly afterwards.
The boy was flown to Brisbane’s Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital with head and multiple limb injuries.
