South Burnett Garage Doors hosted the April meet’n’greet organised by the Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Owners Derek and Tania Charlwood have been running the business for 11 years, and for the past three years have been operating out of a main-street frontage in Haly Street, Kingaroy.
The 30 guests at the meet’n’greet had the opportunity to see the couple’s new range of smart phone-activated garage doors in action. These doors can also be locked remotely by telephone.
Derek said B&D Roll-A-Door had adopted a new logo and new slogan, “Home Safe Home”, and the brand was focusing more and more on safety and security.
“Your garage door is often the biggest access into your house,” he said.
Derek and Tania’s showroom display includes full-size working models of various styles of door which visitors can try.
South Burnett Garage Doors can also install motion-activated gates, shop doors, industrial roller shutters and see-through shop shutters.
The business employees four people as well as Derek and Tania.
