An elderly man has been airlifted to hospital after a quad bike accident at Windera on Monday afternoon.
The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ CareFlight helicopter was despatched to a property near Kratzmanns Road about 12:30pm.
It is believed the man, aged in his 70s, suffered head injuries when he fell off the vehicle.
The clinical team on board the helicopter assisted on-site emergency crews to treat the patient on the ground.
He was then airlifted to Nambour General Hospital for further treatment.
