A 64-year-old Yandina man will face a charge of drink-driving after he was breath-tested by police at Proston on Tuesday evening.

The man, who was returning from Boondooma Dam, was pulled over in Rodney Street for an RBT by the Kingaroy Road Policing Unit.

He allegedly had a blood alcohol concentration of .073.

Senior Constable Jade Miller said police were conducting random tests throughout the region so if people risked drinking and driving, they would be caught.
