The Darling Downs and West Moreton Primary Health Network (DDWMPHN) is seeking expressions of interest from people interested in becoming a Community Advisory Committee member.

The Public Health Network – the federally funded successor to the former Medicare Local network – is also looking for an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representative for the Darling Downs Clinical Council.

The Darling Downs Community Advisory Committee is being established to provide a on community-related perspective to the DDWMPHN Board.

The committee will be responsible for assisting with the development of strategies to improve the operation of the health care system in the health network region.

The Darling Downs Clinical Council is a sub-committee of the DDWMPHN Board. Its aims and objectives are similar to the Community Advisory Committee.

The Darling Downs West Moreton PHN is a jointly operated by the Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service and GP Connections who won a Federal Government tender to oversee the local network, which includes all the South Burnett.
