Cornelius Lea, 9, and William Murray, 5, from Cherbourg, were having fun at the Nanango Show

April 29, 2016

The Nanango Show had something for everyone … from Peppa Pig and train rides for the kids, to motorbike barrel racing, a cutting competition and trots on the main oval.

In fact, the 107th annual show was jam-packed with fun activities for all the family.

The reptile show proved very popular, as did the pig races and animal nursery.

But it wouldn’t be a show without sideshow alley; the Sky Walker ride towered over the showgrounds.

There were all the usual show attractions as well … chainsaw carving, woodchopping, showjumping and pavilion competitions.

Equestrian events kept the main ring occupied throughout the day.

The stud beef competition was well-supported, as was the Limousin feature.

The show was officially opened by LNP candidate for Maranoa David Littleproud.

In the evening,  fireworks and live music topped off a big day of entertainment.
