A 35-year-old Taabinga man has been charged with producing dangerous drugs after police stumbled on to his cannabis plants on Saturday.
Police were at a property on Boonenne-Ellesmere Road in Taabinga in relation to another matter when they spotted the nine marijuana plants growing.
They seized the plants and began to make further inquiries.
The occupant of the house presented himself to police later in the week and was charged.
He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on May 9.
