Applications are now open for the 2016 South Burnett Mayor’s Bursary – one of a number of bursaries offered by the National Council of Women of Queensland.
To be eligible for the $1000 bursary, an applicant must be:
- A female resident of the South Burnett Regional Council area
- Enrolled in a full-time, part-time or distance education course – either university or TAFE, to further develop their skills as a primary producer, or for the benefit of those residents of the local region
- Can demonstrate their contribution to their local community, for example through a sports group, school, church, service club, CWA, and be …
- An Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia.

Applications close on April 4.
